Digital Analyst Apprentice

Overview:

We’re looking for an awesome Digital Analyst Apprentice to join the LooseGrip team and be instrumental in the growth and success of our company. Someone who loves the idea of turning data into action.

Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll help LooseGrip deliver actionable insights that allow us and our clients to create better campaigns, content, and user experiences.

To own this role candidates will be:

  • Familiar with digital measurement tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio, Optimizely, etc.).
  • Ready to learn how to take loads of data and transform that into readable, actionable, reports.
  • Eager to learn about best practices, expanding your knowledge by researching the latest tools and trends.
  • A strong storyteller – By word, image or chart, but sometimes all three.
  • Vocal, creative and willing to mix it up with the team.
  • Committed to constant learning, self improvement and a thirst for new/better ways to do things.

Ideally the candidate would also have:

  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar analytics tools in a personal or professional capacity.
  • An understanding of what to measure to produce actionable insights.
  • Some light coding ability (JavaScript, etc) .
  • Experience using APIs to centralize data sources.

Day To Day this role includes:

  • Assistance with all of our digital reporting that occurs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence.
  • Management of user tests, experiments and optimization.
  • Making our small team smarter by presenting/sharing learnings continually.
  • Finding efficiencies in all aspects of analytics reporting and capture.

Curriculum Includes:

Part of this position will be to do some self-learning. The goal is to inform the LooseGrip team about tools and techniques to make analysis more efficient while uncovering better insights. These online and in-person sessions will get you up and running!

We’re small, nimble and virtual. While we’re “based” in Pennsylvania, without fancy office digs our remote team works from all areas of the US. We use quarterly meet ups to be sure we’re all pushing towards the same goals, and get a chance to have a beer together every now and then.

Most of our day to day collaboration happens via Google Hangouts, Slack and Insightly.
